Inspiration:  This project tells my story of connecting with creativity and the resulting awakening within me. Some of the imagery was inspired by “Things it Would Have Been Helpful to Know Before the Revolution” by Father John Misty. 

Project Details: The challenge was to tell a compelling story with the main character adding elements of continued complexity as the scene builds, resulting in a loop.

Process: I ended up concepting and designing it all in Illustrator. For projects like these I will play a layer of “motion notes” on top in a bright red to give myself both motion arrows as well as the thought behind them. This is helpful when I revisit these during the animation production phase of the project.
